My (late) father was born and raised in Mattock. For years I have been
researching his family (COCKING). Consequently, I have become intensely
interested in the area of Matlock/Derbyshire. Also, I am an avid reader of
British mysteries. However, I never find an author that writes mysteries that
take place in the above area....and I have tried Amazon and E-Bay! Does
anyone know of a past or recent writer of British mysteries wherein the plot
takes place in the locale of the Matlock/Derbyshire area? Many thanks for any
