MEAD - Nottingham or Beeston (in Notts) 1890's
MELLORS/MELLOWS (or any variation) - Notts ca 1900
MITCHELL - Nottingham from 1900 or Ripley (Derbys) area from 1840's
MULVEY - Nottingham from 1860's, originally from Ireland (1811) via
Sheffield (1840's)
PRICE - Keyworth (Notts) 1820's
SPRAY - Nottingham 1970's (yep that's not a typo <g>)
TOMLINSON - Nottingham ca 1900
WAIN - Heage (Derbys) 1840's
WEBB - Nottingham from 1860's or Stafford from 1840's
YEOMANS - Notts 1870's

PS. My vote for favourite registry office goes to Amber Valley at Ripley,
I posted a request for a cert Tuesday to catch the 5.00pm post and received
the cert at 7.00am today Thursday, not bad eh? and this was the second of
two
requests that have arrived in such timeliness:-)
