Here is another list of boy miners who lived in the Ilkeston area of Derby.
I apologise for some of the names transcribed, but the original hand writing
was difficult to translate in some instances.
The reference to "Eastwood Coal Mine" is not of my doing. Investigation
indicates that there was no specific mine called "Eastwood" So I can only
assume that the term is a collective one for the mines between the Ilkeston
area and Eastwood in Nottingham.
I do know for certain that some of the boys listed worked in the Woodside
mine just outside of Cotmanhay.
