Dear Jim
Where in the world did you learn that wieners were made from floor scraps
and rat turds????? I certainly can't believe such nonsense. Did you check
that out with the FDA - or the manufacturers? Just because blood pudding is
made from the blood of animals is no reason to demean it - I don't happen to
like such things but other people do - there is nothing inherently wrong
with it.

Listers,
All this discussion on haggis and blood pudding
has pointed out one thing to me:
The difference between a weak stomach and
a weak mind.
It is really funny when one suddenly turns from
liking a food to being unable to eat it after
finding out from what the food is made.
I have a similar problem with wieners, like made
here in USA from floor scrapes, rat turds, etc.
Used to love wieners, but now - no way.
I wonder how I would do with Rocky Mt. oysters.
