Subject: Skifte of Anna Lethe Bruun Jürgensen? (died 15 Aug 1828)

Hej alle,

I wonder, can anyone help with finding the skifte of JJ's mother? I am
hoping to locate the Eckersberg painting, sold to the museum at Hillerød
in 1907.

(And originally thought to be JJ's father ... but the age does not
compute).

Her name was Anna Lethe Bruun Jürgensen, and she died 15 Aug 1828 in Kbh
... after which JJ (as Prodigal Son) was tracked down in Hobart, to fix
up his share of the legacy.

Grateful for any assistance with this. It's a puzzle, whether the
painting is titled Hofurmager Jørgen Jürgensen or just Hofurmager
Jürgensen ... but maybe, the skifte will shed light on that :-))

Help, anyone? Iørn has arranged for a private viewing of the problematic
painting in August ... but a little more (genealogical) ammunition would
help enormously :-))

mvh,

Lesley
