Listers,

I get the GEM button back the next day (after midnight,
Danish time). Also having another email address (and
password for that account) should do the trick.

I have been successful downloading any time of the
day. But sometimes it gets slow and will not work.
When that happens and I don't back out soon enough,
I lose the GEM button. So if everything stops for over
a minute, I back out and start again. If it happens
again, I go to a different page and start again.
Usually the next day what I have missed becomes
down loadable.

I am downloading complete books. I author
a Table of Contents for each. I have finished
Heltborg parish 1771, 1814, 1833, 1856, and 1866.
Tables of Contents contain opslag #, year, subject,
and download file number. They are simple text
files and free to anyone. They are a great help
in finding particular year and subject (birth, death,
marriage, etc.).

Also see http://www.carlludvig.dk/ao/
She has Tables of Contents for several parishes.
Many of them are incomplete, but may give
you an idea about where things are at.
I am hoping she will add mine to her site.
