Hi Arne and Paul,

When I had problems using Internet Explorer at Arkivalieronline, I followed
Lisa Petersen's suggestion to download the Mozilla Firefox web browser (I
think that is the browser Netscape uses also). Mozilla works better than
Internet Explorer for me. IE sometimes stops working after I've looked at a
few pages and it seems to be much slower than Mozilla.

I just tried both browsers. The Gem button was there for both. Because I
have a 15 inch screen, I have to scroll to the right to see it. I was able
to download a page using both browsers, but IE was much slower. Lisa
Petersen has full instructions in English at her website www.kinquest.com --
including what you need to view the images..."you must have Macromedia Flash
Player to view the images. You will also need a tiff-viewer on your computer
to look at any tiff images you download from AO".
