I am having some problems interpreting the below census record:

1803 Aabenraa Amt, Lundtoft Herred, Bov Sogn, Dorfs Bau, 1:

Name Age Marital status Position in household Occupation
Daniel Petersen 46 Gift Hausvater Prediger
Carolina Friederika Stange 28 Gift dessen Frau
Eleonora Maria Petersen 6 dessen Tochter 3. Ehe
Carl Friedrich Lorenz Petersen 1 Sohn 4. Ehe
Magdalena Helst 30 Ugift Eine Verwandt
Friedrich Christian Tüchsen 24 Ugift Dienstboten
Catharina Autzen 27 Ugift Dienstboten
Christina Maria Christiansen 24 Ugift Dienstboten
Nicolay Lorenzen 16 Kostgänger
Andreas Hinrichsen 13 Kostgänger
Comments: zum Amte Flensburg

The comment "zum Amte Flensburg" - does this mean the family resided in
Flensburg prior to 1803? If I were to search for an earlier census for Daniel
Petersen (i.e. 1787), where is Flensburg located? I cannot find a county named
Flensburg. And what would Sohn 4. Ehe mean?

Sorry if I sound dumb, but I am just now delving into my Danish family after
30 years of working on my Colonial America line.

Thanks -
Lynnea
