I have a few questions on ports of departure in Denmark. My lund ancestors
left German controlled Denmark to find freedom in the United States. Can
anyone give me information on these ports? Peter Lund's naturalization
papers say he left from Apenrade (Abenra) Denmark in 1892 on the ship Norge.
Where can I find information on this port? Jens and Niels Lund naturalization
forms say they left from Estbery, Denmark on the ship Ivernia and landed at
the Port of Boston in 1902. Can anyone tell me where Estbery is located in
Denmark and any information on it? Thanks.
