I found this website very useful while doing my research for my book &
movie. Listed you will find Milton's Historical Society among others.
I just back from De recently visiting my Callaway cousin, and trying to
restore my grandfatherx5 house that I inherited. It is approx 200 years
old. Recently found his wife Elizabeth's trunk in the attic with all her
personal writings. Found amazing memoirs about her children Elizabeth
and Mary and others. It helped me understand my direct line much
better. Not all of us can be so lucky to find this treasure. :)
If you are researching family from De, you should definetly decide to
take a trip there. You will enjoy all it has to offer. Also stop at
Dover State Archives, they been helping me for several years.
