Getting to Original DM Columns
From:
DearMYRTLE,
I received and downloaded your letter of yesterday. However I am unable to
retrieve and read the file. I have Microsoft Word 7.0, and I got a message
that they could not get the file for me. (Sorry, I have forgotten the
correct wordage they used.) Apparently it cannot translate a mim file? Is
there any other way to retrieve this message? Can you send it in some other
form? I especially wanted to see the Cherokee files. Thank you for your
help.
Dear ,
Unfortunately sometimes the DIGEST version of this e-mail list gets large,
causing it to overflow into a MIM attachment by some e-mail services. If
you're having trouble reading these, you could change from digest to LIST
mode in order to receive each individual column.
However, I have another idea:
Anytime you'd like to read an article, you may always to go the DearMYRTLE's
Web site and view it in the original format. Believe me things look much
better in HTML than they do in e-mail. All the Web sites are hyperlinks, so
its easy to navigate to the referenced sites.
The home page is located at:
http://members.aol.com/dearmyrtle/index.htm
and its accessible to everyone on the Internet.
There have been several Cherokee articles over this past weekend, and I am
not sure which one you'd like. If you go to the web site you'll find all of
them!
THANKS for reading, and good luck with your Native American Research.
Myrt :)
