URL: http://www.geocities.com/ofvoyager/ErievilleCemetery2001.htm
TITLE: Erieville Cemetery, Town of Nelson, Madison County, NY
DESCRIPTION: This list was made by walking the cemetery, and reading
the stones' words into a tape recorder, thentranscribing the tapes into an
excel spreadsheet. There are two additional names on the list that are
burials from 2002, and they were added because I knew of them as they were
relatives of mine. I tried to be as accurate as possible, although some of
the older stones are very difficult to read. As you read through the
listing, please take note of a couple of things. Anything written in
parentheses are my own comments. Anything else in the comment space was
taken directly off the stones. If I thoughtthere was a distinct possibility
that the text could be different from what I took, I put it in parentheses,
also. A fair number of stones had birth dates, but no death dates…as
well as the reverse, death dates, but nobirth dates. Also, the last column
of this list is a cross reference to the 1915 list. Some of the stones
stated"Age" and some "Aged". !
As I was typing this up, I couldn't tell which was which on the tape, so I
went with "Aged" all the way through.
