Thanks for the McGough information. There are a few of us searching
McGough/McGeough's on the Co. Tyrone list. Mine are:

My GGrandfather, his sisters and uncle, all settled in Montgomery Co., PA,
which is north west of Philadelphia (at least that I have documented so far):

Margaret, Born approx. 1822, Emigrated approx. 1840 pos. on Champlain,
age 18
1845 - Married John Cahill
Children: Mary Cahill - Baptized 1/11/46
Margaret Cahill - Baptized 12/10/48
John Cahill - Baptized 3/9/51
William Cahill - Baptized 8/21/53
Thomas Cahill - Baptized 12/3/58

Catherine, Born approx. 1824, Emigrated approx. 1840 pos. on Champlain,
age 16
X/XX/XX - Married William Cassidy
Children: John Cassidy - Baptized 1/1/54

Mary, Born ?, Emigrated? 18XX - Married ________ Burns
Children: Cecillia Born?

Ann Born ?, Emigrated ?, 1856 - Married John Rogan

William Born? Emigrated 1853, age 20, Declared to become a US citizen in
1855 1860 Married Mary Murphy, born in Ireland, These are my
GGrandparents.
Children: ?, ?, ?, Annie and William, my Grandfather.

All emigrated to the US supposedly arriving at the Port of Philadelphia.

In addition, there was also an Uncle to all of the above, James McGough,
and Wife: Mary, James Declared intention to become a US citizen in 1839
Age: 34. My gut tells me that the parents of William and his sisters were
named William and Mary, I haven't found any information that they ever
emigrated to the US.

The sad thing is that I don't yet know the families of my GGrandfather's
sisters to give them the information I have found so far. I'm searching
backwards and forwards at the same time.
