Dear Candice,
Its a nice thing you are doing, and with 3 jobs at that.

Would you possibly have time to look up a Robert ALEXANDER in your book
when you find time. He and his family left Ireland and arrived in
Newcastle upon Tyne about 1837 or so. Since the 1841 census taken in
Newcastle indicated that he was a Brickmaker and his son Matthew, a
Brickmaker apprentice, they might well have come from Tyrone. I
learned, from the Topigraphical Index of several counties of Northern
Ireland that there was an extensive brickmaking business in Tyrone at
the end of the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th. The 1841
census only indicated that the family was born in Ireland, but the 1851
census indicated that they were born in county Down.

Any possible help would be much apprieciated. Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Lowell BUD Alexander
