When my father wakes up in a short while (at 101 years of age, we/family of course let him sleep until whatever time he wants to), I will ask him about the Triscornia Camp. Although he did not work for Cuban Immigration, he was keenly aware of everything that went on in the Port of Havana, since he was the attorney who was responsible for the creation of the Legal Department of Havana Customs, and also served time as director of a couple of the departments of that organization.

Sabe algun colistero si esta informacion es correcta y si el Archivo/Oficina
todavia existe, y si se puede hacer investigaciones genealogicas en el mismo?
I am told that during the XIX and first half of the XX century arriving
immigrants would be processed at Cuba's Ellis Island; Campamento de Trisconia,
located in the Casablanca neighborhood of La Habana near La Cabaa. Does anyone
has information if the place still exists and if its records, if any, are
accessible for genealogical research.
