On november 29,1843 a group of citizens from Matanzas signed a petition
AGAINST SLAVERY.

There is a Justo de Lamar, Benet Urbach y Ca. and a Juan
Cuni Day y Schweyer.

Tambien en el libro del Conde de Jaruco , por las paginas del apellido
Teurbe Tolon he encontrado que en marzo 1839, Antonia Laño y Lamar ,
natural de Matanzas, h.l. de Agustin Laño y Narisani, natural de Genova y
de Dna. Apolonia de Lamar y Torres, natural de Matanzas, caso a Don Pablo
Teurbe Tolon y Otero, bautizado en la Parroquia de Alacranes el 17 de
febrero de 1820.
