Hello

Just prior to the Spanish Revolution (1936-1939), many young Spaniards wanting to escape the clutches of Franco, migrated to Cuba. Some chose to work the Sugar Fields in order to save money to enter USA.

Is there any record of the young men who worked the sugar fields.

They had to live somewhere. Were there banks for their money? Did they drive cars?

One of the young men who chose this route to enter USA was my Father-in-law. He entered USA at Tampa, Florida. Anything that would help me find a record of him would be appreciated.
