Thank you Agustin for answering. You gave me some more that what I had.
I remember as a child the stories about Triscornia. I have not been able to
find anything at all about it. Not even in the Cuban sites. I do want
to do some research, as the place, in my opinion hides many stories about
the soo many immigrants that came to Cuba from many places, particularly from
Spain and from other parts of Europe. It might not be a "proud place" to
talk about but it sure is part of our history, and not many people know
about it. I will continue to investigate because the same way that Ellis
Island Archives has the manifests of the ships that came to New York full
of immigrants, there must be a place that has these documents. For those of
us interested in genealogy, we might even find the name of our ancestors,
that unfortunately had to come to Cuba, without documents. Regards, Maria
