Does anybody know why that website - the Ellis Island website - only has ship
manifest information up through 1924? My mother-in-law's parents came
through Ellis Island when they emigrated from Ireland, but not until a few
years later. She estimates 1927 or '28. I checked Ellis Island anyways just
on the chance that she's wrong, but no luck.

I've been curious ever since as to why the flow of Ellis Island information
stops at 1924. Anyone here know?
