To all CUBA-L and CUBA-D subscribers:

Please note that authentic messages from CUBA-L and CUBA-D *NEVER* include
attachments and therefore are unable to transmit viruses. If the message
you receive apparently from CUBA-L or CUBA-D has an attachment, *DO NOT
DOUBLE CLICK OR OPEN* the attachment, but delete the attachment immediately.

Unfortunately the recent Klez virus steals random addresses from the
infected computer and uses one as the destination of the message and
another to forge the "From:" address. Sometimes you may receive a message
that appears to come from CUBA-L or CUBA-D (or any of your friends for that
matter) but it's really being sent to you autonomously from someone else's
infected computer. Note that whether you subscribe or not to the list is
irrelevant - the message is coming to you not from the list, but from
someone else's infected computer.

Sirvase notar que los mensajes autenticos de las listas CUBA-L y CUBA-D
*NUNCA* incluyen ficheros adjuntos y por tanto no son capazes de transmitir
los virus. Si el mensaje que usted aparentemente recibe de la lista CUBA-L
o CUBA-D incluye un fichero, *NO PULSE DOBLE O ABRA* el fichero adjunto,
borrelo inmediatamente.

Lamentablemente el reciente virus Klez roba las direcciones de la
computadora infectada y usa una direccion como destino del mensaje y otra
direccion para falsificar la direccion de origen del mensaje. Algunas veces
usted puede recibir un mensaje que aparentemente viene de CUBA-L o CUBA-D
(o de uno de sus amigos) pero en realidad ha sido enviado autonomamente
desde una computadora infectada de otra persona. Note que el que se
subscriba o no a la lista no tiene importancia - el mensaje viene a usted,
no de la lista, sino de una computadora infectada de otra persona.
