I did not read most of the e-mails about this but when Cari mentioned A
Coruña it caught my attention.
The place in Spain is called La Coruña, also known as A Coruña, Corunna and
La Corogne. it is part of Galicia - it is a very old city dating back to the
times of the Romans. One of my ancestors was from there so I had looked it
up before. Here is a site that may help you.

if so there is a place in spain .. in la rioja region called la cirueña
