Teresa ~ No, I have no information about him only a suggestion. Could his
name include Vigil? Legend has it that many who came to Cuba with Qui~ones
as a last name were actually Qui~ones y Vigil or some variation of that.
Along the way the Vigil was dropped. I don't know if this happened with other
double surnames, I suppose it did, but it is rumored to have been prevalent
with these names. Let me know what you think.
