Do you mean Artemisa in formally Pinar del Rio (now it's in la provincia de
Havana?) My fathers whole family is from there, I can't get them out of
that area.

some of the surnames from that area are: Crespo, Noda, Castillo, Piedra,
Donate, Quicutis, Borego, Silvera, Gonzalez & Marquez. Do any of these
surnames ring a bell? These are the primary lines I'm searching that are
from that area. Please let me know if you have any. I went to Artemisa in
94 to meet the family, and everyone knows everyone in that town :-)
