Tomas Terry, Born in Caracas Venezuela, 1806, from a very poor family,
emigrate to Cuba stablishing in Cienfuegos, hard working, and very smart for
bussines, got to be the richest man in Cuba, Married to Teresa Dorticos,
Who's father , from France, was one of the founders of Cienfuegos, and one
of the most prominent citizens of the Villa, Had a large Family. One son
Emilio, got to be a deputy for the Autonomista Party, in 1886, (year in
wiich his father Died) Emilio doing his father's disires, built the
famous "Teatro Terry" to use it's profits to support local schools.
