Sorry, there were seldom if ever attics in Cuba. things were kept in the
armarios viejos, maybe on boxes on top of them. when many years passed, the
family distributed pictress if there were children or grnadchildren of the
person in the family; or they were sent to nepphews and nieces; if there were
none, and the letters and papers were usually burnt. Marta C.
