Uhhum, well, since I'm not sure whether or not you were being sarcastic in
your message, I shall refrain from an acerbic reply.

I think that most of us know how to take a picture, but it was my
understanding that you need special camera equipment to photograph paper
documents and that a regular camera doesn't work, particularly where the
documents may be old and faded.

Lay the book on a table, chair, floor, stand above it with a camera. Focus
on the record you want. Not too hard to do....
