Hi folks,

I have often read email from other rooters who "lost their hard drive"
and "lost all their email addresses" but I never *dreamed* it could
happen to me! I've been off-line for what seems like years, but it's
probably only days ... weeks at most :( I'm up and running on bare
bones. I'll be busy rebuilding for a few more days. I not only lost my
genealogy data, email addresses, email saved, but I also lost my Mom's
and my own bank accounts! OUCH :(

Anyway, that's enough whining. I just downloaded 170 messages and from
what I can see, you all have your hands full with really important
issues. I'm sorry I've been absent, and I don't want to jump into the
middle of a crisis like I know what's going on, so if I can help just
ask. Otherwise, I'll be rebuilding my computer and "listening" to the
email.

John Fuller, will you please let Steven Schlossman know that I am not
dead (yet :) I have not been able to answer his or your questions about
my bilingual list. I'll get back to you both just as soon as I can.
