I found Alanthus in Connersville, Indiana in the 1820 census, described there as
born in Connecticut. For the 1810 census in Connecticut, when he would have been
19, he had not established a separate household and was therefore not listed in the
head-of-household census. The families in Woodbury in 1810 which had a male age
sixteen through twenty-five were the Thomas Curtiss family and the David Curtiss
family.
