Mary Adeline KROPP, resident of Park Rapids, Minnesota, died Wednesday,
April 4, 200l, at age 93.
Mrs. Kropp was born in Floresta, Colorado in 1907 to Anton and Emily
(SKENDER) RADOSEVICH. The family moved to Benoit, Bayfield County,
Wisconsin, when Mary was a child. She graduated from Mason High School
and was able to attend college. She obtained a degree in teaching and
worked in Wisconsin for 20 years in grade and high schools. In 1947 she
relocated to Park Rapids, MN, and worked in the middle school. There
she meat Roy KROPP and married him in Ashland in 1953. They lived in
Park Rapids where she became the high school librarian and where they
bought a home. In 1972 she retired and the two relocated to Portage
Lake, nearby. Roy died in 1993 but Mary continued on her own till
recently, when she moved into the Heritage Living Center of Park Rapids,
where she died.
Mary loved fishing. She fished both in summer and winter,
especially with her husband. She also loved reading and she planted
each year a vegetable garden.
Her husband preceded her in death as well as 5 brothers, Frank,
Raymond, Joseph, Tony, and Matthew RADOSEVICH, and a sister Lena.
Surviving are Edward ( Usteana ) RADOSEVICH, brother, of Minocqua,
sisters Annie PORVICK of Denver, Emily CARSON of Waukesha, WI, and Ethel
BOLKA of Milwaukee, Wi, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Interment at the National Cemetery at Fort Snelling in St. Paul, MN.

1990 census.
