Hi to all listers, I'm back.
That is back with a challenge to you all. Recent talks with the elders of
my Jones clan have resulted in an allegation/claim that a Theatre Artist
called 'Hetty KING' Born 1883 and died 1972 was a relation.
(First I had heard of it was last week).
Now I've searched the net and found three old photos, and that a character
in a TV show called 'Road to Avalon' has a character named Hetty King.
Hetty was famous as a Male impersonator, and topped the bill in the UK and
the USA. If she is indeed connected she I would suppose would be through
the KING line that I have.
Katherine (Kate) King Baptised, St Hilary Cornwall 1845
I believe her father was a William King, this is all I have except that Kate
married a Thomas Hoskin Seymour from Portreath, baptised 1844.
I am not even sure where Hetty King was born, so have posted details on the
Glamlist (who say they are the best) so the challenge is to see who answers
with definitive details of Hetty KING, place/date of birth etc.
I know Kernow Kousins can rise to this challenge, and thanks.
