Hi Listers and Pastie makers.

Please, Please a Proper Cornish Pastie is a meal all of it's own. You have
everything neccessary inside your pastry.
Tomato sauce is sacrilege when served hot, but if there is a corner left for
supper ( Very Rare), then T/sauce is allowed.

Pasties made early and put in the fridge are fine, also to freeze. Allow an
extra 15 to 20 minutes cooking for frozen ones. Potato's do turn slightly
black however.

If you have any problems with your pastry going hard, then wrap pasties and
tray in Foil, once pasties have browned, approx 1/2 hr.

Good pastie making and enjoy!
Jane
