Dear Subscribers to the Clark/Champaign Counties, Ohio Mailing List,

I am trying to find the correct birthplace of Curtis COOPER, who was
born 30 Sep 1821, but there were three places of birth recorded in
Mormon records: Westville, Champaign County, Ohio; Westview, Cuyahoga
County, Ohio; and Wheatview, Adams County, Ohio. All three of these
birthplaces are found in the IGI.

Can you help me determine whether Westville, Champaign County was the
community where Curtis COOPER was born? Curtis COOPER's parents were
Parker COOPER and Sally STRONG. I have found Parker COOPER in Cuyahoga
County, Ohio in later years, and that is where he died, in Olmsted
Township. But I have not located Parker COOPER in the 1820's. He was
born in Rhode Island about 1790.

Curtis D. COOPER married
Juana(?) LYON, 8 Oct 1844, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Curtis D. COOPER
was enumerated in the 1850 Census of the First Ward of Cleveland,
Cuyahoga County, Ohio, page 113.

Artemas COOPER was another of Parker COOPER's sons, who was born 7 Nov
1819, supposedly in either Adams County, Ohio or Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
I do not have confidence in either of those birthplaces, however, until
I find out more about the two locations. The IGI does contain errors.
