I am coming across a William and Mary CAYCE and a Thomas CAYCE in Williamson Co.TN. At times the records are recorded for these folks as CASEY. I would like to know something about them. I am trying to find one Thomas C.Casey in the Nashville TN area and need to know something about these to continue.
I have a Eliza J. consort of one Thomas Casey in Williamson Co. Obit in 1829. My Thomas C. Casey married in 1817 one Eliza Jacomine Woodard/Woodward.
Other data found:
Feb. 3, 1827 Wm CAYCE buys Mineral Springs (Kerrs) 10 mi. SW of Franklin in Williamson Co. TN He has a boardiing house or
hotel from the newspaper advertisement.
April 7, 1830 a Deed of Trust from William CAYCE to Sam Crockett and Sam Crockett is selling half of the 48 acres Willaim is living
on. Selling personal property as well. States Mineral Springs known as Cayce Spring, located on Murfrees Crk,
border neighbors Popes and Barnett.
July 1831 John B. Anderson advertises he is owner and running Cayce Springs
Oct. 24, 1831 pg. 277 Geo. Hodge to Allen Cotton Constable , Bill of Sale Reg. April 1832:
Whereas two attachments gained, one in favor of Geo. Hodge and the other in favor of Wm CAYCE, against
Thomas CAYCE. Davidson Co. Deed Book T& W
May 1832 Mary Cayce advertises her Millinery has been moved to the white house next to the Franklin Hotel next door to
Dwyers Store.
Feb. 26, 1836 Thomas CARSEY lived opposite the FRANKLIN INN and his frame house was destroyed by fire.

Can someone tell me if these are Caseys or Cayce's?
