Hi Tim,

I'm still waiting for some documentation showing any father for Pleasant
Casey. Thus far, I have not been able to find anyone who can prove any
parental connection. If anyone has it, I would sure appreciate the proof.
Otherwise, it would be helpful to figure out some way to make these
statements of a tentative nature to keep newcomers from picking them up as
gospel.

For the last several years, because of the difficulty with the Casey line, I
have been trying to find the Pleasant Casey connection by researching his
wife Lucy Webb. This has resulted in a lot of very interesting and
applicable information on the family, but not the connections I am seeking.
Would very much like to hear from anyone coming across the names Pleasant or
Webb in association with Caseys. By the way, if you think the Casey
research is difficult, you should try Webbs!
