I am looking for Casey family connection at Paris in Lamar County, Texas
about 1874. James Franklin Casey and his wife Sarah Jane Sparks moved
briefly to Lamar County in the early 1870's and was gone by 1877. But douing
the brief time they were there they had 1 to 3 children born there. My
question is why did they move there and which Casey members did they move
with.
Children born there were George Washington Casey b Oct 5, 1874 and possibly
Harmon Casey b 1876. Shortly after they left Lamar County, Texas they moved
back to Newton County, Arkansas to join other family members. They then left
for Montana Territory about 1882. Frank and Jane Casey and their family
stayed in Montana Territory until about 1889 when they returned to Oklahoma
Indian Territory and they stayed there until they died at Francis, in
Pontotoc County, Oklahoma.
