Hello guys:
This same thing happened to us on our Cockrum line.
We had a known to us Hezikiah who turns up proof positive in a old bible
handed down to us kids via my
Grandfather from his Father who owned the bible.
Anyway we knew that this one listed here was b. 1762 per the bible record.
We then found one younger in SC and following him it lead us to search the
1790 Census of SC and we found the older man, Hezikiah living in Greenville
Dist. SC by that census and this was based on his age the older man from the
bible.
So yes it is very possible that you too in this CASEY branch may both be
correct, only have a few wives mixed up right now because perhaps your
missing a CASEY man to go with them in between some where so keep looking
and save all the notes and don't get angry with each other. BECAUSE once
more you may just both turn out to be right!!
Look at who they witnessed for or bought or sold land to all so neighbors
that may help you find out for sure too.
Good luck,
Gail

Co SC (no proof from me) and he married Mary Polly Wayne abt 1765 SC and
Alexander Casey was born abt 1747 he could not be the son of this Aaron
agreed. But he could be his brother correct.????

would put him born in 1747 he would be old enough to served in the
Revolutionary War (no doubt here) the problem now is Aaron Casey could not
be his father could he ????

Spartansburg, Spartansburg, SC. See the internet is a problem because
conflicting info and such.
