>Read these from others research and let me know what you think. I will give
you some of my thoughts on these articles tonight . Again this is what is
written not proven by Tim Casey. Only their thoughts and research on Moses
Casey.

>Moses Casey 8-1.
>According to the information we have Moses Casey was the sixth son of Abner
Casey and that he was born in VA. He was a small boy when the family moved
to South Carolina. We have very little information on this branch of the
family, but find a Moses Casey enumerated in the 1790 census of South
Carolina. At that time Moses Casey was living in District 96 , Spartanburg
County, South Carolina, the same District in which most of the Casey's were
living at that time. Enumerated as a part of the family at that time were
two males over 16 , two males under 16 , six females and no slaves.
>In our contacts with members fo the Casey family , we have not definitely
identified any as descendants of Moses Casey, but there are some who are
believed to be members of this branch.
>In handwriting is the note: Moses Casey , was a major in the colonial army
during the Revolutionary War.

>Tim Casey Note: Now some of you may have not read the George and Abner
Casey manuscript this is what it contains on Moses Casey son of Abner Casey.
It doesnt appear to me that they tried to make Moses fit into where they
wanted more like this is what we know, of course these men did this by pen
and pencil and snail mail.

married and had two children. In 1771, Berkeley County was one of the four
counties of South Carolina. This land was granted to Moses on April 31 ,
1774 and Memorial was made on this land on July 14, 1774. According to
