Hi to all,

I read an article in our local paper this morning and am hoping someone on the CASEY mail list may recognize this family and be able to help. I personally know only what is below:

An U.S. Army Infantry ring of unknown age bearing the inscription of "In memory of Gail Casey" was found at the bottom of Lake George here in NY by an area diver. The insignia on the one side of the ring comes from the 173rd Infantry Brigade - a unit that served in Vietnam. The insignia resembles a blue shield with a sword across the bottom, and the words "Follow Me" across the top. The ring also has the name of the manufacturer (R. Johns Ltd.) but no other clues about its owner.

Anyone with information about the ring may contact John Allen at (518) 207-4827 or by e-mail at . John Allen is a newscaster for WYNT-TV who aired the story about the ring.
