Anybody searching the Caseys of Wayne County? I am looking for info on
Alexander Casey b. 1818 son of William Casey, I think. That's what I am
assuming now. Is there an 1850 census for Wayne County? Alexander supposedly
went to Illinois during 1850's, got married, had two children (Robert &
Sarah) and came back to Wayne County and remarried Vicey Casey. My
grandfather was Robert Casey but I have been unable to prove Alexander, son
of William, if my great grandfather. Any feedback would be most appreciated.
Also is Hugo, NC in Wayne County? I have been told that Vicey Casey is
buried at Edwards Chapel Methodist Church in Hugo.
I am referring to Wayne County NC. I sent a copy of this to Wayne County
mailing list thus all the querries on Wayne County.
