I research Abner Casey and Peter Casey. I live in Union Co IL . I research
John Casey and Drucilla Hill , John Casey son of Christopher Casey b. 1754
d. 1840 Cole Co MO (I have yet to find a document that proves this but has
been handed down to my family) Randolph Casey I research as I live in
Southern IL where his sons Zadok and Levi Casey migrated to Zadok to
Jefferson Co IL and Levi to Johnson Co IL.
Gen Levi Casey I research as his wife was Elizabeth Duckett and my gggg
grandmother was Charity Duckett Whitten who was Elizabeth Ducketts sister.
I also do research on Peter Casey as some of his descendants married into
Taylor family which I have found goes back to my Taylor lines and connects.
I have info on Charles Casey line of MD and Micajah Casey of Wayne Co NC.
I research the Hill family and found Sarah Casey m. Henry Hill in the
manuscript names her father as Abner Casey and Nancy Williams this is found
in Montgomery Co IL so if this is correct Jesse Casey descendant was in IL
with my line of Casey's . I do not do much on Jesse Casey line one the
Casey Association has their line documented. John Casey line of Abner Casey
same much has been done there.
Also have info on John Casey of KY whos son William Casey was grandfather of
Mark Twain not Benjamin Casey as some have taken from manuscripts.
Anyway that is what I research and have found that General Grant relates to
the Peter Casey line thru marriage to a descendant of Peter Casey.
Zadok Casey was the LT. Govenor of IL never the Govenor of IL as some have
written.
I have found connection to the General Short at Pearl Harbor he was a
Fayette Co IL native and relates to the Casey families there.
My Casey lines came from MD to SC to KY to IL.
Warren Co KY , to Bond, Montgomery, Fayette and Shelby Co IL I do most of my
research on my Casey line.
I probably written enough for now.
Tim Casey

not aware of him doing research. Can you provide more information? At
least post what CASEY family group you are researching, with some dates and
locations, please. Thanks.
