Not my family, but there is a marriage certificate in IL for John J
Casey and Harriet Clark, Menard County, 09/12/1844, Book A, Page 35,
certificate #205.

Illinois has many marriage certificates on-line (but not all - read the
fine print) in a searchable database at:

http://www.sos.state.il.us/depts/archives/marriage.html

I hope this is some help. From here you know what census records to
check or other resources that may be available from Menard County.

Happy Hunting!
