I received a copy of this document and wanted to see if anyone can connect me
with the Caseys that were in Ohio.
Know ye That Jehu Casey a private of Captain John Thomas (I believe it says)
Company ( F) Second Regiment of Arkansas Infantry Volunteers, who was
enrolled on the Fifth day of January one thousand eight hundred and sixty
four to serve three years or during the war hereby Discharged from the servie
of the United States this Eighth day of August , 1865, at Clarksville
Arkansas by reason of expiration of term under provisions of WD.
Said Jehu Casey was born in ____ in the state of Ohio is thirty nine years
of age,
five feet five inches high, light complexion, dark eyes, light hair and by
occupation, when enrolled, a farmer.
Given at Clarksville, Ark, this 8th day of August 1865.
Does anyone have a line on any Caseys out of Ohio that i might contact, have
lots of information on my line. Thanks in advance Sharon
