I don't know if our Caseys could be related or not. I have a John Casey b.
circa 1760 m. Philorlea Edgeworth 12 Aug 1778 in MD and shortly after their
marriage they moved to North Carolina. So far I have just one child born to
them (I am sure their must be more)

This child John Casey b. circa 1784 m. Jane Walker b. circa 1768.
Their children where: Unknown daughter, William W., Henry W., Unknown
daughter, Lyle, Mary A., Unknown Son, John Young, Jesse M., Lillian (Lillis)
L., Unknown daughter, Thomas Melmuth (my ancestor he stayed in NC) Columbus,
and Jane E.
The above were all born between 1810 and 1830 in Iredell Co NC.

The source of this is the work of Don Casey and Jerry Cook. Assembled from
family records and grave markers and personal knowledge of the families.

They lived in an area of NC where Yadkin, Iredell and Wilkes Counties all
meet.

I have been working on this line for just a little over a year. I have not
done a records search yet. There are more Casey families in that area but I
have not got them related to each other yet.

Names repeated quite often, Thomas, John, Jesse, William, Henry, Mary,
Jane, Sarah

As I find more I will post the information here.
