Sandra,
The Jesse Casey Sr. that you refer to was married to Mary Coe. This Casey
family has a long history of marring Coe women, according to my information,
Jesse married her during the Rev. war in Va. However the Casey family lived
in Newbarry Co. SC during the war. I have maps of their land grants and they
mostly all lived just south of Whitmire, inc. Jesse.
Now, I had discounted Aaron as being Jesse's son and as being the father of
Jesse E. Casey. But I have a Casey cousin who swears that he has absolute
proof of this. I will be seeing him in Oct.and he has promised to give me
proof too. Anyway the information that I have on Aaron is; that he was b.
1748 d. 24 or 25 Jan 1826 prob. Tn. m. Mary "Polly" Wayne b. 1752 d. 1845,
bur. Parthanon, Newton Co. Ark. Buffalo Cem.
Jesse E. Casey b. 1797-00 Ga. d. Jun 1863, Parthanon, Newton Co. Ark. Buffalo
Cem. mar. 4 Apr. 1817 Martha "Patsy" Coe, Roane Co. Tn. b. 1797 d. Jul 1846
Parthanon, Newton Co. Ark., Buffalo Cem.
Now Sandra this is my direct Casey line, Jesse Clinton Casey s/o Jesse E. is
my GG grandfather, he was married to Sarah Snow and both of their mothers
were Coe's, being sisters made Jesse and Sarah first cousins.
Sandra please tell me how you figure in this? Is this your line? Don't
hesitate to ask if you need anything else.
Wanda Norman, Okla.
