Hi,

I'm still looking for the parents of my Rufus CASEY. If anyone knows
anything more about this CASEY family, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
Below is all the info I have on them.

Rufus CASEY b. ~1799 in Spartanburg, SC, m. Henrietta (aka Betty) COMPTON in
1821, d. ~1880. They had the following children:

1) Roderick (aka Redrick) b. ~1827, m. Martha Catherine GILLISPIE-see below
2) Samuel Gibson b. ~1831, m. Sarah WILBANKS, m. Caroline KEATON
3) Lucina b. ~1826, m. John SMITH
4) John Randolph b. ~1828, m. Elizabeth WILBANKS, m. Elizabeth HOWARD
5) Malinda b. ~1833, m. William WILBANKS
6) Martin b. ~1837, killed at Ft Moultrie
7) Sarah b. ~1840, m. Thomas FREDERICKS
8) Roland M. b. ~1822, m. Rhoda GILLISPIE in 1848, d. 1893
and ?9) Mary b. ~1849-child found on census record, but no other mention of
her found to date

Roderick CASEY b. ~1827 in Spartanburg, SC and Martha Catherine GILLISPIE had
the following children:

1) Florence b. Jan 1867, m. Thomas Louis ADDIS, d. Feb 1953 in Oconee Co,
SC-my line
2) Rachel b. ~1859
3) Robert b. ?
