Hi guys,

I keep seeing references to writings by Walter E.Casey and Harold Casey
and an unpublished manuscript by a George and Abner Casey. I can't take
it anymore.

Many people are believing these writings.

I have proven that at least three or four generations of CASEYs in these
books are totally incorrect, in my own lineage.

Harold CASEY has died. His son, Robert CASEY, continues to collect and
publish CASEY info. The 1980 Harold CASEY book, which is no longer in
print, used info from the unpublished George and Abner CASEY manuscript.
They used that manuscript as reference material, not as proof!

Even Robert, Harold's son, now knows that much of the info in all those
publications you guys are using as fact are wrong.

Please, please, please, do not use any of those publications or anyone's
information gotten from those publications as any way of proving any
lineage.

They are okay to use as guidelines, as places to look for any kind of
proof/source of your lineage; but they are not okay use AS proof/source.

MUCH OF THE INFO IS WRONG!!!!

If you can't find proof/source of your lineage, keep looking. Please
don't go giving info re your lineage unless it's proven; at least don't
use those publications as your way of proving your lineage. If you do,
the likelihood is that you are passing out wrong info to many, many other
CASEY ancestors.

My lineage is Ambler CASEY > Moses CASEY > Ambler CASEY > Austin Allen
CASEY > William CASEY > Raymond Perry CASEY, Sr. > Mary E. CASEY (that's
me).

The publications you guys are using don't even list Ambler CASEY, my gg
grandfather. They list a Uriah and Allen CASEY with a father of Anthony
CASEY. They say this Anthony CASEY's father was a Uriah CASEY. That whole
lineage is WRONG. There is NO SUCH Anthony CASEY and NO SUCH Uriah CASEY
in those positions. The people who belong in those positions are Moses
CASEY and Ambler CASEY vs Anthony CASEY and Uriah CASEY.

Others I know of have PROVEN that MUCH of the publications used as
proof/source is UNTRUE.

If those writings have been proven totally incorrect re three or four
generations in one particular CASEY line, image how many errors are in
everything else they've written?

My apologies for "exploding." I just get so frustrated because people
publish stuff w/no proof of it. Info re my lineage was wrong for, at an
absolute minimum, 50 years. I'd like to see us all get "on track" and
TRULY PROVE who our ancestors are.

I have NO IDEA who Ambler CASEY's father, my gggggg, is. He may or may
not be a Jesse CASEY. And please don't ask me anything about any Jesse
CASEY who COULD BE Ambler CASEY's (b: 1790) father. I haven't had the
time to RESEARCH that far. It took me forever to prove what I've proven
thus far.

I do know that Ambler CASEY (b: 1790) was very close to one Jesse E.
CASEY. Personally, I BELIEVE Ambler and Jesse E. CASEY were brothers.
However, and this is a very big HOWEVER, I have not PROVEN this.

If we all get on track and truly prove our lineage, maybe we can really
start to put together some pieces of this puzzle. I'd love nothing better
than to know exactly who it was in my ancestry who came from Ireland and
from where in Ireland.

However, nothing has been proven. It would be so wonderful to have it
PROVEN.

Please don't blast me with e-mail msgs. I've simply written here what I
know to be true.
