Hi Cherlyn
The film was made in 1991 and was called 'Rebecca's daughters' ...it was
filmed on location in Wales, one of the main actors was Peter
O'Toole......MGM here shows the good old films, we missed the first quarter
of an hour, but we really enjoyed it........have never seen it
before....yes, the singing was wonderful, to hear the welsh hymns in the
Chapel......the saying was that most of them were 'Methodists' and did not
drink.....but think that was a joke between themselves!!
If you can get your hands on a copy, worth viewing, I enjoyed the way the
period costumes were shown, did not look like Whitland to me
though.....don't know what sand-dunes they were using!!
Pauline
