Thank you very much Barrie for remembering - be over the moon with the
photographs.......cannot wait to see them.
Annie lived in a humpy at the back of a Bakers shop but that had probably
gone.

Hi Diane,
Last weekend Monica and myself were down in Rocky, I took the
opportunity of checking out the south Rockhampton cemetery and afterwards
taking some photos of Alma St and the Fitzroy river for you, also thanks to
digital photography I have the map of the city centre which alma St, is part
of. Ironically I parked the car directly opposite the local undertaker (one
of a few) in Alma St. itself and when I checked the building out the same
family have been in business since 1863.

Unfortunately as it was a Sunday the premises were closed
I did look at the Rocky Residents for 1889 and found a Terrance Morris,cab
proprietor,South St.
I didn't find Anne in the South Rocky cemetery, but over the years it has
had a couple of fires go through the grounds.
I'll send you the photos in dribs and drabs so as not to overload your
computer.
