I'm a little puzzled when you say in 1851 there is a Samuel - no Daniel.
Did you mean the other way round?

I am presuming that the family in 1851 is at 2459/495/256 Penydarren

Certainly a David Davies married Rachel Richard in Trelech 6 Dec 1832

Can you tell me if you did find a Samuel somewhere or if you want to
find a Samuel somewhere and I can see what I can do.
