Dear Clinton, from the book, Abstract Records of Cumberland Co. by
William C. Fields, he has this listed - Book 3, page 323 - Nov.3, 1768
- Peter Brown to Malcom Blue, both planters of Cumberland , for
L(possible English mark for pound.) 14.10.o proc. 150 acres on E/S of
Cape Fear River , on a branch of Locks Creek, patent March 9, 1754. Wit:
Duncan Blue, Daniel McDonald. Smiths listed in this book, Alexander,
Archibald, Charles, David, Ezekiel, Gilbert, Henry, Hugh, James, Jeptha,
John, John( Long) , John (Sandhill), John Jr. John Sr., Malcolm, Margay,
Mary, Nicholas, Peter, Richard, Robert, Samuel, Samuel Jr., Sara, Thos.,
Tos., William. If you have a Smith listed here, I will be glad to copy
